Anchor Steam Advisory Services

Anchor Steam was conceived in 2010, to fill a void in Western Australia’s struggling pearling sector- threatened by a proposed LNG processing hub at James Price Point north of Broome. Working closely with the fishing industry, Woodside’s consortium of title holder partners and the WA Department of Development, Anchor Steam successively achieved conditions in the EPA approvals for the Browse Basin LNG hub project development, providing certainty and protection for WA’s pearlers.

From this start up in the state’s northwest, Anchor Steam now offers a suite of services based on collaborative approaches which span private, not for profit, research and public sectors. Anchor’s aim is to mitigate hurdles- to address complex multi-stakeholder situations with bespoke solutions.

“‘Ridiculously fast learner’ and ‘effective team player’ are the phrases that immediately come to mind when I think about Alex. Alex earns my highest recommendation.”
